Engage in a personal conversation with Marianne, co-creator and longtime resident of a unique senior collective in Roskilde. Built in 2009 and inspired by international research on active senior housing in Japan, the Netherlands, Canada and Denmark, the community is designed and operated entirely by its residents. Today it has a waiting list of several years, a vivid example of how architecture, lifestyle and shared values can come together.

Marianne has been married to her husband Henning for more than 50 years, and together they chose this way of living as an intentional life decision. Marianne is known in the community for her cooking, especially Italian food, inspired by years of learning and by her family ties to Italy, and brings warmth, generosity and curiosity to any conversation.

This 1:1 session is a chance to learn directly from the wisdom of a senior who has insight into how architecture, shared facilities and collective living can support independence, connection and meaningful daily living.
